Description
EQS-ELEVATORÂ is a mechanical earthquake switch which detects seismic activities (earthquake) and sends a signal to the desired point as a result of detected activities and shuts off automatically. The device is designed to control electrical power automatically in TS12884 (Turkish) and ASCE 25-06 (American) standards with the effect of an earthquake. It is used in systems such as Elevator, Generator, Electrical and Fire Panels, etc.
Features
- It helps levelling the floor in elevators by sending dry contact during an earthquake.
- It gives dry contact in case of an earthquake. It converts into (NO) position before an earthquake and (NC) position after an earthquake.
- It is completely mechanical. It has no problems such as battery out and electronical part failure.
- It is not affected by low/high decibel sound vibrations and electromagnetic waves, there are no unnecessary shut offs.
- Factory settings are made according to the standard and put at the disposal of users.
- Its settings cannot be tampered. It is not expected to operate at different values.
- After the device shuts off, it cannot be installed automatically and it does not allow electric flux.
- After all system is checked, it is installed manually.
- Its size is small. It does not occupy place.
