Description
The mechanical earthquake valve perceives the seismic activity (earthquakes) automatically shuts off the flow. This device has been designed to automatically shut off the gas flow due to earthquakes under TS12884 standard conditions. When the device is subjected to the momentum range of seismic vibrations given in the standard conditions, device makes shut-off. Valves have a simple operation principle, remain closed when tilted or bumped, and must be manually reset, which enables safety inspections for leaks and other hazards to be done before gas service is restored.
